Well my love affair of taking photos of flowers continues and now that I have my new macro lens there is no stopping me. Yesterday I saw these beautiful dahlias in a florist near where I work. I just loved the beautiful soft colours in these flowers. So armed with some cream coloured material to use as a background, a reflector, my camera and new lens I created this. This photo is pretty much straight out of camera. Just a little sharpening and I removed a few little black dots on the petals. This is one of the few floral photographs that I have taken that I haven’t edited with textures in Photoshop. It just didn’t need it.
