It’s Spring | Etsy | Floral Fine Art

Well it’s that time of year again when we can get out in the garden!  To be truthful our garden still looks like it is in winter mode but hopefully over the next few weeks it will wake from it’s winter slumber and come to life.

Steve and went to the nursery  during the week and bought some punnets of pansies to pop into the garden and introduce a little colour.   I do have a soft spot for pretty pansies and have often thought of ways I could photograph them to produce a pretty print.   When I saw these purple/burgundy tone ones I thought they showed some promise.  Once again Steve thought I had lost my marbles when I high jacked the punnet of pansies and start taking photos.  I actually really like what I achieved.  This  print was shot with my 50mm f2.5 macro  and using textures I have created that dreamy soft look I was after.   What do you think?

The great thing about photographing flowers is that you don’t necessarily need to spend a lot of money on expensive flowers.  This punnet of pansies at $2.50 has produced a lovely print …
