A few weeks ago I posted some beach shots that I took while in Queensland visiting my mum. I have always loved other people’s photos of the beach, skies and clouds. Some of my favourite photographers gravitate towards this style of work.
I can’t tell you how inspiring I found just wandering along the beach with my camera looking at the changing light, ocean and cloud formations. I was in a world of my own. It was one of the most relaxing things I have done in ages. I got so caught up just looking at the beauty of the ocean and sky that I was oblivious to the other people nearby. I felt like it was just me on the beach by myself with mother nature. I think this type of photography will be good for nurturing my creative soul. I am looking forward to many more walks with mother nature to see what inspires me next …
