Isn’t funny how we can take things for granted. I have lived in Point Cook for 6 years and have never taken the time to look at the area from a photographers point of view. Point Cook is a new area with housing estates going up at at a rapid rate. I have never taken the time to look around the area for great locations to use as back drops for photography shoots. I have always thought I needed to drive to other suburbs which have beautiful beaches and gorgeous old established gardens. The other day I took my camera and drove to the Point Cook Homestead. I am embarrassed to admit I didn’t even know the homestead existed until 2 years ago. I spent the afternoon at the homestead and captured the images below. Isn’t it amazing how we take for granted things that our in our backyard.
