Adieu Paris

Well we are back.   This visit to Paris was just perfect in every way.   Our previous visits have normally only been for a few days but this time we had 9 full days completely to ourselves to explore this majestic city.   Every morning we would set out and walk the streets, setting off in a different direction each time.  There were days we were absolutely exhausted when we returned to our hotel, but after a shower and quick rest we hit the streets again to enjoy dinner and the city lights.   Of course the highlight of our time in Paris was the wedding of our gorgeous girl Simone to James on the 4th January.   Simone looked gorgeous and the church where the wedding was held was spectacular.    Simone did an amazing job organising her wedding from here in Australia.   At times I know the language barrier and the distance cause her to worry that all was on track, but it all worked out perfectly on the day.

During my time in Paris I took hundreds of photos!  Now that I am home and looking through them I am simply over whelmed thinking how will I ever be able to edit them all. My plan is to get the best of the best printed in a digital book so it can take pride of place on our coffee table.  This way I will be able to look at it often while I plan my next visit to France 🙂
