I can’t believe it has been almost 12 months since we left to spend our Christmas in Paris and see our beautiful girl Simone get married to James. This year has just flown by! While going through some images that I shot recently I came across this one of a small bunch of lavender which I thought would be a good one to add textures and overlays to. Lavender is a very special flower to me as it was Steve’s mums favourite flower. I can’t help thinking about her when I see or smell it’s beautiful scent. Lavender also makes me think of the south of France. Steve and I spend some time in Aix on our first visit to France and both of us loved it. Unfortunately when we were there it wasn’t the right season to see the beautiful fields of lavender at Avignon but I plan to get back there one day to witness it. I don’t need to an excuse to plan another trip to France 😉
