I have mentioned several times in this blog that I have found an amazing little florist in Packington Street, Geelong, that sells the gorgeous flowers that I have been using to create my prints. Their range of flowers is always a little different to the mainstream florists which is what I am looking for in my work. They aren’t cheap but they are wonderful. So can you imagine my surprise/delight when I stumbled across this beautiful bouquet of roses in a bucket outside my fruit and vegetable store for $9. The colours of these roses were what attracted them to me straight away. They are a mixture of cream, green, pink and burgundy. As soon I saw these roses I visualised a print that would show off these beautiful colours . I love the soft creamy look that I have achieved with my edit. You have to love a beautiful bunch of roses don’t you? Especially when they only cost $9.
