Where are your photos

Yesterday I was going through a box of old photographs of my family, some dating back to my great- grand parents!   I sat there going through those photos for hours just wondering what these family members of mine were like.  I particularly loved looking at the ones of my mum and dad when they were babies and young adults.   It made me feel a little sad that all these wonderful images spend 99.9% of their time in a box at the top of my wardrobe.  They really are priceless, and get more priceless with the passage of time.  Most of us have a box of photos that rarely see the light of day or worse still have all of our family photos stored on our computer. Storing your family photos on your computer is risky.  Computers are renowed for crashing and also did you know that everytime you open a photo and then save it, the quality is slowly being compromised?

This  got me thinking about how wonderful it is to display your favourite photos on your walls so you can enjoy them all the time.   The problem is some people like me don’t have a lot of wall space in their homes.  My home has a lot of windows so that limits my opportunity to hang artwork or photos around my house.   A possible solution to this problem could be to get a storyboard printed.  I really think this can be a modern way of printing out your images and also is a great choice for those of you who can’t make up their minds which photos you like best when trying to decide on a photo to have printed.  Storyboards look great framed in a modern plain white or black frame but they also look great printed out on a canvas.

Below are a couple of ideas I have put together as an example.  These photos where taken during a recent session where I had great pleasure in photographing the gorgeous little Mia and her big brother Seth.
