I was thinking this morning just how much I am enjoying the change of direction my photography has taken over the last few months. I have always loved having flowers in the house. So much so we planned our garden so that at any given season there is always something in the garden that can be picked and put in vases inside. During the week I found a lovely little florist in Packington Street, Geelong and treated myself to a stunning bunch of Peonys and some Chrysanthemums. I love Peony’s but unfortunately I do not live in a climate that will enable me to grow them. People in the US and the UK probably take them for granted, but here in Australia they are a real treat. I have spent the morning working out my plan for photographing my Peony’s… The chrysanthemums were a little easier.
