the bird cage and the daisies | Etsy | Photography Prints

Last week when I wandered into my favourite shop ‘Provincial Living’, just for a look around 😉  I spotted something that I knew straight away would be wonderful to photograph.   A small rustic  bird cage.   As soon as I saw this my mind went into a spin thinking of what I could do with it.  I don’t think I had it home longer than 15 minutes before I started work on these shots.  The photo in my last post ‘trying to fly’ was my first attempt at editing one the shots from this session.  In that edit I kept the texture a little rustic and simple.   With these shots I edited them by adding a soft aqua overlay and an aged texture. I can’t believe what a completely different look I achieved by slightly changing the editing process.   I am still not sure which edit I prefer.   Sometimes I need time to mull over things for a while …
