It has been really cold here in Melbourne town, even by our standards. I think most Melbournian’s are a little over the cold mornings and nights and are now ready for those first warm days of spring. I know I am counting down the weeks. I am not sure what is happening with my garden at the moment, it seems to be a little confused. Whilst most of the plants in the garden are looking a little ‘blah’ as they normally are in winter. Some of my roses have already started to bud. I am sure they are not suppose to be doing that at this time of the year. Are they?
Because my greeting card sales have been doing really well, I have been braving the cold and experimenting with some new ideas and themes. These balloons are just one of the themes I have been experimenting with. Of course I chose a morning when it was really, really windy, wet and cold to do this. But I did wind up with quite a few ‘keepers’ to add to my print collection. If anyone found some blue and pink balloons floating around Point Cook area last weekend. I could well be the culprit …
